Most people would be sad if their TV show got canned after 2 seasons ... but not Sarah Shahi, 'cause the smokin' hot actress is actually rejoicing over "Fairly Legal's" small screen death.
Sarah -- also a former NFL cheerleader -- got some bad news in Nov. when the show she starred in was axed by USA brass.
But at the Grove in L.A. this week ... when a photog said he was sorry about the cancellation, Sarah replied, "It's okay man, I'm not. I'M NOT!!!"
And FYI -- Sarah already found a new job, joining the cast of "Chicago Fire" ... and yes it's that show about hot firefighters in tank tops.
